Hi, I’m Christine Baskin, and here’s a little about me.
I was raised in the small town of Sanford, Michigan. After earning my bachelor’s degree in Television Production from Ferris State University, I married and moved to Alaska, where my husband and I spent five wonderful years and welcomed our two beautiful children. While we loved our time in Alaska, we eventually returned to Michigan to be closer to family. We settled in Ortonville and have happily called it home ever since.
Several years ago, I found myself commuting long hours and spending my days at a desk, feeling stuck and searching for something more meaningful. That search led me back to something I had discovered years earlier, Reiki. I took my first class with Missie Mellen and quickly realized how much I loved helping others feel better. I continued my studies and became a Reiki Master and Teacher.
Wanting to deepen my understanding of the body and healing work, I attended the Guardian Massage and Reflexology Program in Sterling Heights, Michigan. There, I became a Certified Reflexologist and a Licensed Massage Therapist. Learning how the body works, and how intentional touch can support relief and restoration, has been incredibly rewarding. I am committed to continuing my education and growing in this field. Most recently, I became certified in Access Consciousness Bars.
Today, I am grateful to be doing work that aligns with my heart. I love massage, reflexology, and being part of the wellness community. Supporting others in feeling more relaxed, balanced, and at ease in their bodies is truly fulfilling.
In my free time, I enjoy studying different forms of healing, energy work, and meditation. I also cherish spending time with family and friends, they are my comfort, encouragement, and greatest joy.
